Windows 10: my computer says that all drives i plug into it are write protective

Im using a 64-bit dell Inspiron Laptop with windows 11 Home version 22H2 installed on itwhenever i plug in a usb drive it says that its write protected and just to make sure its not the usb i bought a brand new 64GB SD card and when i pluged it in it did not recognize the card as a SDHC cardinstead it recognize it as a write protected hard drive installed onto the computer and i used a diffrent computer as well to test if it changed anything and its completely fine on thereis there any clue why my inspiron is recognizing any usb/SDHC drive as a write protected drive and is there any way to fix

Run CMD


1. diskpart
2. list disk

Then in the 3º step, put the correct number of disk in the list for the usb flash (if it's listed in disk 3, then you'll have to write select disk 3).

2. select disk #
3. clean
4. create partition primary
5. select partition 1
6. active
7. format fs=fat32
8. assign
9. exit

with that commands you will format the flash drive in fat32, if you have a large drive you can select also "format fs=ntfs" in step 7.

USB jump drive won't work in windows 10 professional; says disk is write protected; jump drive was formatted exFAT prior

I upgraded from Win 7 Pro to Win 10 Pro; 64 bit. My 64 gig jump drive won't allow me to do anything and says it's write protected. I have tried everything listed on internet, like diskpart, regedit, and there is no switch. Prior to the Windows upgrade,
it was formatted exFAT and worked fine. Every time I plug it in it tells me there are errors and wants to run a check. Then it says the disk is write protected. It won't allow me to format it or write to it. Is there a small program somewhere that will
allow me to format over the write protect and fix the disk?
