Windows 10: My computer says “This system detected an overrun of a stack-based buffer in this...

Hello, my HP computer does not let me log in via fongerprint nor pin it says “something happened and your PIN isn’t available, click to set up pin again.” But it doesn’t let me and “this system detected an overrun of a stock-based buffer in this application” keeps on popping up. I searched a couple of self help instructions online, but they can’t help me because I’m stuck in Lock Screen. I haven’t tried to download any apps. Is there any way to solve this l?

On a Windows 10 desktop today there was this error message...

“The system detected an overrun of a stack-based buffer in this application. This overrun could potentially allow a malicious user to gain control of this application“

Any suggestion as to what the problem is and how to rectify the problem?
