My computer seems to have randomly half-reset all of its data.

When I woke up this morning and turned on my computer, everything was alright until I logged in.When i was logging into my desktop, it was saying "preparing windows" where the "welcome" text should be. I thought nothing of it because my computer is really slow and has done weird things like this before, just to see that my desktop was completely reset, as well as my downloads, and most of my applications. For some reason, there are still some random things downloaded with shortcuts on my desktop, which means it didn't full reset. My wallpaper is gone, as well as all of my settings were reset, a

  2. Help! Data partition not showing under my computer

This is happening on a windows 2000 server. Our second partition of the system, for data is not showing under my computer. Here are the properties of it in disk management:

Now under logical drives its listed as F and shows free space available.

Suggestions on how to fix this?

Computer Randomly Hangs; cannot run reset

I have been experiencing a number of issues with Windows 10. The computer randomly hangs up for 10 seconds or so. Since updates also would also not install, I ran the troubleshooter. Now I have resolved the update problem but the computer still randomly
hangs for several seconds across all apps. I tried to reset the computer, but when I click on the reset button, nothing happens.

I ran several malware programs and nothing was found by any of them.

How can I resolve the issue? I tried to follow the steps to run the system checker, but I cannot get the computer to display what the steps say should be displayed.

    I have a HP Z Book running Windows 10.

    Thank you.

My computer seems to have randomly half-reset all of its data.

Computer Won't Reboot - AMD Data Change...Updata New Data to DMI

If he is getting stuck at verifying DMI pool data, that means his BIOS isn't finishing the POST process before it's hanging up. Although I'm confused now because he said he tried re-installing windows which would indicate that the machine is getting through the entire POST process.

I'm confused now. I think we need a better, more descriptive version of what exactly is happening.

Maybe a full step by step process of what is happening?
