Windows 10: My Computer Sometimes Hang and Automatic Restart

Recently, my computer has been randomly freezing and restarting while playing games and normal time like hangout with discord. There is no blue screen and no error codes or anything. I have run hard drive tests and ram tests which all come back saying no errors. I have updated all my drivers, and I have the latest windows updates. There may be more info in event viewer but I haven't a clue how to navigate or use it. Any help is appreciated.

Automatic Restart

We appreciate your response. We suggest that you turn on the automatic restart using command prompt. However, you need to access the
Startup settings. On some Windows 10 computer, pressing
F11 once a computer boots up will bring the System Recovery menu. We suggest that you check if it's the same on your computer. Here are the steps on how to do so:

• Turn on your computer, then press F11 simultaneously.
• If a blue screen with Choose an option shows up, click on
  Troubleshoot.
• Look for Advanced options, then click on Command Prompt.
• On the command prompt, type this in "wmic RecoverOS set AutoReboot = True".
• Once done, click the "X" at the top right of the screen.

Restart your computer and see if the issue persists.

Random restarts

when you start the computer up press F8 repeatedly until you get a list of how to start windows, choose do not automatically restart on system failure. if your getting bsod's list what your getting here so we can further help you. IF the system is not getting bsod's and still restarting as you say then i would look into getting a line conditioner for your computer as you might be having power issues.

 

i have install window 10 and task manager increase to 100 and my pc hang? some it automatically restart and indicate machine check exception

It is possible that there is a
third party applications that are running in the background
and a
corrupted system file
that causes your computer to hang and automatically restart. We suggest that you try these methods of troubleshooting steps to fix this matter:

Method 1:
Run SFC Scan.  

To run an
SFC scan, follow these steps:  

• 
  Run
  Command Prompt as Administrator.  
  
• 
  Type
  sfc /scannow
  and hit
  Enter.   
  

Method 2:
Run DISM Tool.  

After running the
SFC scan
and the issue still persist, run the
DISM
to check the system health and to try restoring or fix any corrupted files. To run the
DISM tool, follow these steps:  

• 
  Run
  Command Prompt as Administrator.  
  
• 
  Type the following command:  
  
  • 
    DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /scanhealth  
    
  • 
    DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth  
    

NOTE:
This might take a while to finish scanning.
Do not cancel.
