Windows 10: my computer suddenly adopted all kinds of sounds.

my computer suddenly adopted all kinds of sounds. i.e. when i scroll my mouth up and down, clicking on different tabs in my emails outbox, when I am closing a file. How do i disable them? Thanks*Moved from feedback.

Good surround sound headset

I know you say you're not that guy, but stepping into the $250+ range really brings a change in build quality that might have you never having to buy another set. Otherwise, getting 6 speakers with decent sound in a headset is hard, and that's what you are asking for, and I have no suggestions, but just a bump up the list. *Stick Out Tongue

 

Sound Quality

One thing that sticks out from looking at your "My Computer" specs. You list "ONBOARD 6 CHANNEL (5.1) HIGH DEF AUDIO (AS STANDARD)" which suggests you do not have the correct sound hardware driver. Your motherboard has Realtek sound and the first step is to install the Realtek sound drivers. My ASUS also came with Sonic Studio 2 which is a sound enhancement package. Check the ASUS install disc to see if you have something similar.

May not be a speaker problem.

 

Constant sound issues with Realtek Sound. Suddenly no sound at all.

This sounds like a driver issue. In order for me to isolate the sound problem on your device, I'd like to ask a few questions:

• Which Windows build and version are you currently using? To check, click
  Start, type WINVER, and press Enter.
• What is the make and model of your device?

• Have you made any recent changes to your computer like installing updates?

In the meantime, you may check this article on how to
fix sound problems and check if you've already attempted all the steps listed in it.

Also, I'd like to ask for the Hardware Ids of the sound driver. To check the Hardware Ids, follow the steps below:

1. Click Start, type Device Manager, and press
   Enter.
2. Under Sound, video and game controllers, right-click the audio device listed and select
   Properties.
3. Under the Details tab, click Device description and select
   Hardware Ids.
4. Right-click on the list of Ids, select all then copy and paste it into your next reply.
