Windows 10: My computer takes more longer to start up. It is slower than before I reinstall windows.

My computer start up is slow than before I reinstall windows 11 , before it took 10 seconds , now it takes 20 seconds. when I restart and when it is starting again the sound We here when windows start Windows start up sound has a delay. It plays after loads the lock screen. I feel my computer has become slow after reinstalling. There is no any doubt with my hardwares. Tell me a possible solution ...

The slow start up on your computer may be caused by the update you installed. However, for us to fully identify the root cause, we need to gather additional information. Kindly answer the following:

• What troubleshooting steps have you tried so far?
• are you getting any error messages when starting up your computer? If so, can you send us a screenshot? Make sure that you remove all personal information.
• What is the current version and build number of your computer? To get the information, kindly follow the steps below:
  • Click on the Start menu.
  • Type winver.
  • Press Enter.

In the meantime, we suggest that you boot the computer in Safe Mode. This will start your Windows in a basic state, using a limited set of files and drivers. Please follow the steps provided on this

link. Once in Safe Mode, kindly check if you will still experience the same issue.

Reinstall Windows?

You don't need to reinstall windows. Go to the device manager and remove uninstall the processor and motherboard drivers listed. When you start the system back up you should be able to re-install the new ones. I just changed my mobo/processor Friday, everything is fine.

BTW I have seen some reviews that state practically no difference in using more than 2gb of ram.

 

Computer No Longer Boots

I’ve seen this tutorial online as well. Yet Thanks for also listing it to help out.
I ran into a problem on the second step: (bcdedit /export c:\bcdbackup)
Here’s my error:

The requested system device cannot be found.
“

Let me try to recall what “may” have messed up my Windows. I believe I may have used Partition Magic or something to accidentally “merge” my main Local Drive to one of the 500 mb partitions on that same SSD. I hope there’s a fix for that.

Do you have any other suggestions please? There are really important files on there that didn’t make it to my backup drives, and I don’t want to reinstall Windows on top of that previous Windows. That would erase the important docs. I want you to be my computer doc (doctor) to help me out with this.
