  1. My computer thinks theres a mouse plugged in even when unplugged

The mouse I am using is a Logitech g502. In the device manager, it says there are 3 mice 1 mouse is the USB mice that plugged in and another mouse is my touchpad the other mice is a "virtual mice" and its location is G hub software of the g502. I use a feature called disable touchpad when the mouse is plugged in and it thinks ghub is a mouse so when the physical mouse is unplugged it says that it plugged in and it super annoying I've tried to uninstall the other mouse un device manager but it just reinstalls.

    :)

My mouse is scroll is not working correctly

    Hello
    zakkey,

We would like to ask additional questions to isolate the issue and get the right solution for you. Please answer the following questions below:

    • Did you notice any recent changes on your PC prior to the issue?
    • Have you tried using a different mouse and check if the issue still happens?

In the meantime, I suggest that you follow these steps to troubleshoot mouse issues.

    1. Try unplugging the mouse and plugging it back in.
    2. Plug the mouse into a different USB port.
    3. Try the mouse on another computer to verify the issue is not hardware-related.

Hope this information helps. Feel free to post back if you need further assistance.

  3. on laptop, plug in mouse ok, unplug mouse then no track pad control

Dont know about a setting to disable, I did not change anything.
If a mouse is plugged in, the trackpad becomes disabled. Then if the mouse is unplugged, the trackpad is still disabled. How do you run software for trackpad, not sure what that would be. Notebook is an ASUS q525ua.

Still not clear what is the normal response to doing those things. On linux, both mouse and trackpad (think so) remain active at same time. I know on linux, you can have more than one mouse working both together at same time, when both remain plugged into their usb ports..

My computer thinks theres a mouse plugged in even when unplugged

Extremely bizarre issue where headphones don't work after being unplugged and plugged back in

I was going through your suggestions, until I got to this part. When I got to step 16 on that list (create a new admin user account and see if the problem persists in that account), I tried that suggestion and created a test account. At first, when I plugged
in my headphones they weren't working (same as my original problem). But then when I unplugged them a Windows notification message popped up in the bottom right, saying something along the lines of "an audio device was disconnected". I plugged my headphones
back in and got the same kind of windows popup asking what type of device I just plugged in, and I selected the headphone option. After that, the headphones worked fine even when unplugged and plugged back in. Unfortunately, they are only working fine in that
alternate user account, and not in my normal one.

So I guess that means that the problem lies somewhere in my account settings, but how on earth do I fix it?
