  1. My computer updated but it doesn’t say it did in update history?

Around 3 days ago my computer said it needed to restart to install the KB4556799 update. I searched it up and apparently people were having problems with it, so I paused it at first. The next day I accidentally resumed it, but I caught it at 0% and paused it again. In the update history it said “Failed to install on 2020-06-13 - 0x8024000b” which makes sense, it failed to install because I paused it.

Today I decided I wanted to make a system image backup so I could finally update and not worry about losing files. However, I had to restart to do the system image. When I restarted it seemed to update automatically, it said “Updating __%”, going up to 33% then going to the Acronis screen (a third party backup tool I use)

In the end I didn’t use the Acronis tool so I left the screen, and it took me to the normal screen where I can log in. After I logged in I checked settings to resume the update because at that point I didn’t care. However it said it was up to date. I thought “Ah, it updated when I restarted.” But when I checked the update history, nothing was new. The latest entry was the “Failed to install on 2020-06-13 - 0x8024000b.” So did my computer update or not? Should I be concerned or should I just leave it?

Windows doesn`t start. Authomatic repair doesn`t work.

    Thanks again!!

I`m sorry I had not noticed that the text on the picture was in spanish. It says that windows has replaced some damaged clusters in "name" file and "directory". Then, at the end "an unspecified error occurred (75736e6a726e6c2e 4f6)".

I`ll do it and I`ll be updating this thread when I have the report.

I ran SeaTools. These are the results:

Update History Not Displaying Latest Update

If nothing shows in update history, try clicking on 'uninstall updates'. Sometimes this list is more complete. Having said that, I have nothing new in either list. Bree

Thanks, Bree. I followed your suggestion and it worked. My computer updated but it doesn’t say it did in update history? :)

Scanner doesn´t work anymore after last Windows 10 update

As many people on the internet already are discussing, their scanner doesn´t work anymore after the last Windows update. But there seem to be no solution.

My Scanner starts making noises, as usual, and then i get error messages: "Communication with the scanner is not possible"
    or this

Is there a workaround for that?
