Windows 10: My computer updated to Windows 11, 23H2 and now it will not let me connect to wireless network

my lenovo yoga 6 is no longer giving me an option for wifi connection anywhere. It updated to windows 11 version 23h2 and now it is offline and the option to turn wifi on/off is nowhere to be found. I have tried every way I can find online and it is not giving me the option to connect to any wireless network. When I try to get help for network settings it says that I’m connected using a virtual network adapter we can’t test. I’ve tried going through troubleshooting directly through Lenovo and I’ve tried what the Microsoft support says as well and nothing is working. I am unable to do anything

Losing network connection

Hello Dear, if you have a laptop or a PC with a wireless network adapter, you can see a list of available wireless networks and then connect to one of those networks. The wireless networks will only appear if your PC has a wireless network adapter installed, the adapter is turned on, and the wireless access point is in range.

1. Click Start, click Control Panel, click Network and Internet Connections, and then click Network Connections.

2. In the left pane, under Network Tasks, click View available wireless networks.
In case, If you don't see the network you want to connect to, click Refresh network list. If you see the network but the signal is weak, move the PC closer to the wireless router.

3. Click the network you want to connect to, and then click Connect.

4. If you're connecting to a secure network, type the security key, and then click OK.

Wireless networks could be set as a private network and that could be a possible reason why you are experiencing issues with viewing some wireless networks within your area. For us to provide better assistance, we would need to know if you are trying to
connect to a public wireless network.

For initial troubleshooting, we suggest performing network reset. Follow these steps to do so:

• Go to Settings.
• Click on Network and Internet.
• Under Status, look for Network troubleshooter and then click on Network reset.
• Restart your computer once the process completed.

With the upgrade to 23h2 or subsequent kB patch, clicking on this pc-network no longer listing other computers on LAN
