Windows 10: my computer wifi keeps going out, this just started happening

i use wireless wifi. I haven't touched the Antennas on the back of my pc, so I highly doubt that's the issue. Everytime I turn my computer on it automatically disconnects me from the wifi (even though autoconnect is on), and everytime i reconnect it's stuck on "No Internet, connected". I've replugged in the Antennas, I've replugged in my power cable, but nothing works.

the wifi does work sometimes, but it keeps going out at random when I'm playing games, or just not working at all sometimes. It's also not th wifi itself, because it's working for my phone.

Network protocol missing - keep losing wifi since windows 10 upgrade

Hi Guys

Thank you for your suggestions.

I uninstalled the network adapter and restarted.

This did not work.

Then I tried step 6 suggested by Banonymy above. This was promising as I ended up with wifi for quite some time but then the same thing happened. I lost wifi and had to go back through the troubleshooting steps over and over again.

When the problem is found and resolved it appears to be that:

"the windows wireless service is not running on this computer"

I would be grateful for any more suggestions.

WiFi keeps dropping

I suggest you to follow the methods below and check if it helps.

Method 1: Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with Internet connection. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue
is with your internet.

Refer these steps:

• Press Windows key +X, select Control panel.
• Change the view by option on the top right to Large icons.
• Click on troubleshooting and click on the view all option on the left panel.
• Run the Internet Connection troubleshooter.

If the issue persists, I suggest you to try the following steps and check if it helps.

Method 2: If this happens even when you are working on the computer, then this could be an issue with the WiFi drivers on the computer. You may try updating the WiFi drivers either from the computer
manufacturer or Qualcomm website. Please go to these websites and search for the latest Windows compatible drivers for your WiFi card model and then install them on the computer. You may try all the troubleshooting steps from the article given below:

If you cant find the drivers for Windows 10 then I suggest you to install the latest driver in compatibility mode and check if it helps.

Now, to install in Compatibility Mode, follow these steps:

a. Locate the executable file (.exe file) for the driver installation program.

b. Right-click the file, and then click Properties.

c. In the Package Name Properties dialog box, click the Compatibility tab.

d. Click to select the Run this program in compatibility mode for check box, click Windows 8 with which it is compatible with in the Run this program in compatibility mode for list, and then click OK.

e. Double-click the executable file to start the installation program.
