    I have been having some issues with my Bluetooth not being able to turn on or off for a couple of weeks. I finally broke down and reinstalled windows on my computer to fix this. This did fix that problem; however, it created a new problem where my computer will decide it does not want to recognize there are any wifi networks and I have to restart my computer, then it will recognize and connect to wifi. This is a laptop with only USB C connections, no standard USB or ethernet ports. I have been keeping up to date on the windows updates.


    Is there any solution out there for this issue? the last thing I want to do is to have to send it in for repairs and pay the shipping and diagnostic fees associated with this process.

    Computer randomly disconnects from internet and won't reconnect until restart or wake up from sleep

    So I tried each suggestion and the results are
    • I tried updating my driver, though I'm quite sure if I installed the correct one, and it didn't work.
    • I ran windows updater, which also didn't work.
    • Running the troubleshooter detects no issues with the network adapter.
    • Uninstalling the driver did not fix it either.
    Testing each suggestion took quite a while since I have to wait and see if it disconnects so I apologize for my late response.

    this hard drive is not connected to my computer, it is connected to my wireless router.

    after scanning for hardware changes as you suggested in step one, there is no usb hard drive
    listed on my computer, either in the device manager, or in the network list in file manager which includes both computers connected to the router. this computer is recognizing the router, internet, and other computers connected to the router.
    it is not recognizing the hard drive connected tot he wireless router.

    I checked my wireless router to see if the usb hard drive is discoverable and verified that it is.

    Frequent disconnects from network

    HI,

    firstly many thanks for taking the time to reply. I have done as suggested and performed a clean boot. After the computer restated the network was working for about a couple of minutes before disappearing. I'm not sure what the next step should be as it would seem that none of the non-essential services is causing the problem.
