Windows 10: My computer will not complete updates.

My computer keeps giving me error message when I try to get updates. I seem to be having issue with drivers and have uploaded the mini dump files to one drive with hopes that I get this issue resolved...

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

• What troubleshooting steps have you tried so far?

Complete computer disfunction

have u tried installing the complete set of Nforce4 drivers??? could be a problem with the hardware acceleration (maybe) idk its kinda hard to diagnose a problem like this without actually being there & seeing what the problem is first hand.

the only thing that I can suggest is that you check your hardware compatability with the drivers - ake sure they are the newest & the most recent sets as possible for your hardware.

the other option i suggest is to update your Motherboard bios as it may have compatability issues with newer hardware.

Also I might suggest that you invest in a new power supply - running what your running a 650 doesnt cut it. that could also be the cause of the problem.

Id suggest at leas a 750+ wattage - dont forget that the 'older' hardware sucks up a lot more power then recent hardware.
