Windows 10: My computer will only boot on the 3rd time I start it. How do I fix this?

I have just built a computer with all new out of the box parts except for the GPU which a co-worker gave me. Installed windows 10 pro, and the needed drivers and chipsets for the MOBO, CPU, and GPU.Every time I try to start the computer this happens...1st try: Press Power Button. Asus Screen comes up and the loading status spins for around 5-15 seconds, keyboard and mouse light up as well, and then the screen goes black. Black as in the monitor is asking for input, as if the monitor is not receiving an input. I hold down the Power but to turn off the computer. 2nd try: Press Power Button. The

Time computer takes to boot up

It is possible that it takes too long to boot up after the update because the Fast Startup is disabled. To efficiently assist you, we'd like to know what troubleshooting steps you've done so far.

Computer refuses to boot

All of a sudden after opening up my computer to remove one of my ram sticks to check the timings on it after replacing it and powering on from a cold start my computer will not boot and does not show any picture on the screen, it starts up with all of the fans going but then it shuts off after 10-15 seconds, what troubleshooting steps should i take???

I suggest you check if you are able to boot into Windows Recovery Environment using installation media. Follow the steps provided below and check.

• • Insert the installation USB and boot Windows 10 from it.
  • In the ‘Windows setup’ page select the ‘language to install’, ‘Time and currency format’ and the ‘keyboard or input method’ and click on ‘next’.
  • Click on ‘Repair your computer’ and select ‘Troubleshoot’.

Check if you are able to boot to this window. If you are unable to boot to this window, I suggest you to contact the manufacturer and check.
