  1. My computer won't let me put my refresh rate back up to 165hz

My computer is a Windows 11 computer with an Acer Predator PO3-600 from around 2020 with a RTX 2060. I play lots of games on it like Roblox, Minecraft, and around 10 other Steam games. The issue is when I got my monitor, it said it's refresh rate was 165hz, that was true, UNTIL I cleaned my graphics card, and noticed after I did so with my dad the screen looked laggier than usual, so I went into the built-in Settings app, checked my refresh rate, and oh there it was. My refresh rate was 60hz, so I tried putting it back to 165hz, so I would get the best gameplay I could with my current setup.

    :)

    Variable Refresh Rate

    Hello William, *Smile

Does your PC meet the requirements below for Variable Refresh Rate?

You won’t see the slider unless your system has all of the following. If any of these are missing, you will not see the toggle and the feature will not be enabled for you.
    • Windows 10 version 1903 or later
    • A G-SYNC or Adaptive-Sync capable monitor
    • A GPU with WDDM 2.6 or above drivers, that supports G-SYNC / Adaptive-Sync and this new OS feature

  3. Display stutters when I change the refresh rate to 165hz

    Hello guys,

I have had this issue for quite a while. I don't know if it's because of an update or what's the problem.

    I run a dual-display setup:

    -ACER VG270v 165hz-1080p
    -ACER VG 270v 144hz-1080p

    GPU: Radeon 5700xt

    CPU: Ryzen 5 5600x

When I try to change my refresh rate for the primary monitor to 165hz it has a strange glitch in the bottom part of the screen. I've used a DP 1.2 until now, and I bought a HDMI 2.1 thinking it was the cable.

It worked fine until 2 or 3 months ago.

    Any suggestions?

    Thank you in advance.
