    My computer won't reboot and won't shut down completely


    I just receive a HP 14u G6 ZBOOK laptop workstation with Windows 10 Pro 2004 operating system. Everything runs OK, but when Windows downloaded all the updates and download the 202H Windows 10 Pro update, the problems started.


    1. Every time that I want to restart the Laptop, the computer closes all the system, and display the normal screen "Restart", but nothing happen, the laptop continues showing this screen and never finish. I most turn off the computer holding the power button.


    2. When I try to shut down the Laptop, the system closes all the programs and the power off the screen, but the power button remains with the light on ane the only way to shut down completly is holding the power button.


    3. The keyboard has backlit option, but after the windows update, this feature is disable and the backlit is off. The laptop keyboard does not include the backlit option for turn on /off.


    I return the opertaing system to Windows Pro 2004, using the windows utility, but all the problems remains.


    I appreciate if somebody can help me to fix all this issues.

    I unplugged my computer to soon and now it won´t start up again?

    Thanks for your answer.

    This solution did not solve my problem since my computer won´t power up at all. it is as if the computer is completely dead and I have tried different outlets that work for other computers but it still won´t power up.

    Is my motherboard broken?
