Windows 10: My computer would crash after roughly an hour of usage

I have an asus vivobook running on windows 10. it's fairly new and this issue started happening 2 weeks into using this laptop. no matter what software i was using the computer would start to behave strangely. when i use chrome after an hour the window would not respond and then the screen would start flashing. in other cases when i play games or open other programs they would freeze and force close after the same amount of time. i hope this is coherent enough.


any idea what is happening?

Increase the window size step by step and watch your vga temps permanently.
What happens?
If it crashes, run at stock speeds as suggested before and retry.

P.S.: When your system locks, does the display signal turn off after a time?
Stuttering sound or no sound at all when freezing?
What X1800XT model do you own exactly?

  What makes you think that system is running slow? Is it when you are trying to run application?

From the screenshot that you have provided, I understood that it’s not the issue with the disk usage. The slowness might be due to the memory usage.

As an initial troubleshooting step, I suggest you to run maintenance task and check if it helps.

Computer Crashes every 24 hours or so


My laptop has been crashing every 24 hours or so. My laptop is the Aspire E 17. Is their anyway i can get the error log, perhaps, and post it here for you guys to debug? Or any other suggestions is fine by me. Thank you
