    I am tired of having the settings on my two Windows 10 Pro machines changed every time there's an update.


    The forced install of your "Edge" browser and making it my default browser is the height of arrogance.

    Potential problem with new Power Toys App

    Yes indeed, this version of PowerToys bears little resemblance to the old XP set of utilities. To misquote an old proverb "Install in haste, repent at leisure!". Geek Uninstaller would have been my next step if System Restore hadn't worked its magic, then restore from a Casper image if that was unsuccessful.

    Installed Power toys 19

    Hi,

    Tried as you suggested, but Desktop icon clicking it simply fails to open Power toys. Using the Administrator opens the Start>Settings>Apps>Apps Features, other than that nothing other can be found.

    Thank you john for all of your help i decided to get the usb my computer came with and factory reset it i didnt have anything that personal or valueable so its ok thanks for the help though i appreciate it
