Windows 10: My computer's brightness is bugged. Won't adjust above certain point

I've been encountering this bug when I adjust my computer's screen brightness with the buttons, it won't adjust. And when I adjust the brightness manually then use the buttons, it instead decreases itself and won't go above 21 percent on my computer. Why? I had to reset it to get it working correctly before it rears up again. Why is this?

• Click on Add or Remove quick Actions.
• In the make sure that the Brightness is ON.
• Then click on the Action Center and adjust the Brightness according to your preference.

• What is the make and model of your device?
• Were you able to see any error message/ error code with this issue?
• Have you tried to install all the pending updates for drivers and Windows Updates on your device?

This issue might have happened due to corrupted/ outdated drivers.

Some computers can let Windows automatically adjust screen brightness based on the current lighting conditions.

To manually adjust the screen brightness, we suggest following these troubleshooting steps:

• Click Start, then select Settings.
• Choose System, then select Display.
• Under Brightness and color, move the Change brightness slider to adjust the brightness.
