Windows 10: My Cortana is running at around 40% ("Very High") after installing KB4512941 and...

I installed these updates manually yesterday. When I checked MS later on, I found that many people were having high CPU usage after installing. Cortana is very high and CPU usage is about 50% with no programs, other than those loaded at startup, running. I don't use Cortana. Should I uninstall these updates and in what order? Will there be a patch to fix the problem?

Insurgency wont install and run for me....

I have played and have fully updated CS and Half life 2....
I am using the newest client and installed the SDK.

I am completely blown away, if i click the desktop icon it starts the sdk and then closes, and it doesn't show up in my game list...

First mod attempt install here, followed the directions step by step on the mods website...

Any ideas?

Thank you for the suggestions. Unfortunately - none of these resolved the problems.

The System Interrupts service is running at 30-40% CPU most of the time and launching an app like Groove music then brings up a Broker task at about an additional 10%. Occasionally the Cortana Background task host comes in at about 40% too. So doing the
simplest task takes CPU well upto the 80-100% utilisation.

Machine running very hot with fans running at high speed.

I'm going to roll this one back to 8.1 for now as I need to use it.

Cortana Notebook

In order to enable the Notebook icon in Cortana, I suggest you to check if you have enabled Cortana.

To enable Cortana, please follow the steps below:

• Go to Cortana.
• Go to Settings.
• Turn on “Cortana can give you suggestions, ideas, reminders, alerts”.
