The cpu usage doesn't goes beyond 54%Clock speed stuck at 1.40 ghzI get performance issues very much for this. I did sfc/scannow also with power options setting to max.My cpu isn't overheating also because the temperature is 51 C. So no sign of stress.Display adapters already updated.Latest version of windows 11.GPU usage very limited while also playing games.Previously i used to get 120 fps with 80 - 90%cpu utilization and same gpu utilization with 3048 memory allocation with 70 degree C.It shutters while playing now with 30 fps. Everything works fine. No third party antivirus installed.Updat

Limiting CPU usage.

I currently updated my windows 10 version 1803, the last major update which asked you all the options of location and such again after the install, on my laptop and after that limiting my CPU usage in advanced power management does not seem to work. Before
the update when I limited CPU usage to 50% in my task manager it never exceeded 50%. Now I try to limit the usage to 50% but still, the processes (games mainly) are able to increase the CPU usage to 100%. Tried different power options, like the default, was
Dell power Manager option, tried it with balanced, but did not work. Is there a fix or do I have to revert the update?

Task Manager High CPU Usage

I have the same problem myself with it only happens when I scroll through task manager and open and close it. I don't know this for sure but the reason this probably happens is that you may have a lot of processes running and task manager is using a lot
of the CPU to process the usage of each program.

What I have done is disable data that I don't need to see like network usage and GPU usage and it drops the CPU usage a bit. I have also enabled everything and scrolled up and down on it and task manager uses almost twice as much.

I would suggest disabling everything but CPU, disk, and RAM, (I would not suggest having GPU on because it is almost always at 99% unless you have FPS limits).

 

Windows 10 CPU usage 100% when Nvidia GPU enabled

I've had the same problem, and have exactly the same GPU model. I was able to set the drivers back to factory default, but any update I've tried (including the most recent) causes the massive cpu usage. I've contacted tech support for both Nvidia and Asus,
and followed all the steps they suggested, with no luck.
