Mail app will not open on 10041.

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it.

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

• Open powershell as administrator
• Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
• Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)

 

Why does some app called Photos run at 50% CPU whilst I'm playing online Game and have no other apps running ????

If an application runs by itself without any notifications, it could be affected by a virus. However, we don't want to assume anything yet until we isolated your concern. First, we suggest that you run a virus scan on your computer. Second, you may
reset the Photos app in Apps in features. Here's the steps on how to do so:

• Go to Settings, then click on Apps.
• Look and choose Photos, then hit Advance options.
• Click on Reset, then read the pop up first before proceeding.
• Restart your computer once done, then observe if the issue persists while you're playing your game.
