    My CPU just heated up to 110 degrees C without beeping or shutting down


    My CPU which is an Intel Core i9 10920X just heated up to 110 degrees C while I was using DAZ Studio with iRay rendering. I noticed when I went back to the desktop briefly in my CPU and GPU temperature widget. There was no beeping or automatic shutting down of my PC and it still seems to work fine. Is this normal nowadays or is that too hot?If anyone who knows about CPUs could advise me I'd much appreciate it. Thanks.

    Hey guys, I live in Iraq and here the max temps in our looooong summer exceeds 50 degrees C !!! I have an i7 930 overclocked to 3.8 with HT on, cooled by a prolimatech megahalems, worst case scenario the CPU never went over 85 degrees under full prime 95 load, and that was without AC in my room, on a fan hanging from the ceiling! I left speed step technology enabled so that the CPU underclocks on idle. Idle temps are usually in the 41-44 C range.
    I suggest you get a powerful air cooler.

    High CPU Temperatures


    Likely those temperatures are not real. The CPU would have shut down before it hit 110 degrees.

    Unfortunately there are no firm standards for how motherboard temperatures are to be read. Utilities attempt to detect the motherboard and react accordingly. Sometimes they get it wrong.

    Yes, on AUTO and Manually they run but it still heats up to 99 degrees
