  1. My CPU won't reach maximum clock speeds even under high load

My CPU is Intel Pentium N4200, I have never seen the current clock reach the maximum clock speed in HWiNFO64 Even under high load. It's seems that it's limited to 2.4ghz. I have searched the internet and have found no solutions.

  3. Network becomes unavailable during CPU high load

    Hi,

If it's high load across all CPU's wouldn't that suggest there's not enough resources to run web browser at normal speed too?

Ping uses next to no CPU load, so will always work. A way to test will be to run another CPU intensive app (video player) whilst Visual Studio builds? If it's slow - your Visual Studio is hogging all the available resources of your PC.

Try settings in Visual Studio to limit CPU processors or cap the maximum load (which will mean your build time will increase).

    Cheers

  4. My CPU won't reach maximum clock speeds even under high load

CPU Clock speed with Belle Update

I would be surprised if the rest of the hardware in the phone, like the RAM etc, couldn't support the maximum CPU clock speed. When such sophisticated electronic devices are designed it's impossible to know until it's all been put together how it will actually
perform as a complete unit - the hardware, software, battery capacity, etc. The clock speed allows a fine-tuning once everything comes together, to get the optimal balance.

Well-made software makes a huge difference to how much CPU/hardware resources are required. Software efficiency is the most important factor of all.

A GPU is only there to perform tasks that would otherwise take up huge amounts of CPU resources. Dedicated graphical tasks such as 2D scrolling, 3D texture-mapping/filling for example. But that's all. The CPU is still running the whole show, but just has much
of the load taken off it by the GPU.

So with the GPU doing more and more, the CPU and it's speed become less relevant.
