Windows 10: My CTRL key is not recognized/delayed when pressing other buttons at the same time!

Hello, this started happening like 2 weeks ago, even though i have been using my laptop for almost a year with no issues so far, and it is very annoying. Somehow, im not sure how to trigger it consistently, but whenever i press the SHIFT key and quickly press CTRL key right after, as long as im holding other buttons together with CTRL usually W,A,S,D since i play FPS games, thats probably the only reason i managed to find out about this, the said CTRL key isnt recognized by the system until i let go of all the other buttons W,A,S,D. It only happens after pressing shift but its very inconsi

Millisecond delay to modifier keys like Ctrl to delay their release

How do I add a delay to modifier keys like Ctrl or Alt, to delay their release if my finger happens to accidentally be slightly or fully raised up, for instances when my pressure of my fingers on the keyboard isn't consistent?

But most importantly, be able to define myself, the custom amount of milliseconds or seconds that the delay lasts?

1. I hold down the Ctrl key on the keyboard
2. I use the left click on the mouse to perform a multiple selection on the images
3. The Ctrl key is accidentally released (my finger is slightly raised due to a fluctuation in pressure being applied, replicated in the video)
4. I then continue to attempt to select some more images at once, to continue my multiple selection process
5. My selection count of everything I had under my multiple selection, is now lost. So now I have to start all over again with a multiple selection starting at just 1 item selected, upwards from 1.

So how can I add a delay for how many milliseconds or seconds a modifer key (like Ctrl or Alt) has to be released for before it becomes released?







Using Sticky Keys doesn't work, as the delay it adds is too long and Windows 10 doesn't let me shorten it.

I'm using Windows 10 21H1

Keyboard delay recognizng any key pressed after ctrl+shift and work fine with any other 3 key combination

I got a strange problem with Sony VAIO SVF-series laptop(windows10) keyboard.
When I hold ctrl+shift it stops recognizing any next pressed key for a random period between instant recognizing(very low probability) and ~2,5sec.
Here are some details:

Any other 3 keys combinations that exclude holding ctrl and shift together seems to work fine. They do fail instant recognition but very rarely and it feels like a simple lag that has nothing common with this problem and I never actually notice anything wrong until start looking for any issues.

If I continue holding ctrl+shift after 3rd key recognized and released and try to press another key - delay will appear again.

If I continue holding the third key after recognition it will continue knowing 3rd key pressed and recognize when it's released without any issues.

In any case, with or without 3rd key remains held, as soon as ctrl or shift released it starts working fine. Example: Hold ctrl+shift then press any 3rd key = delay. Release shift, continue hold ctrl, press and hold 'alt' then press any 3rd key = no delay. 10 out of 10 normal recognition. Guess it means it's not a hardware problem.

Got the latest enhanced ps/2 keyboard driver.
win10 updates checked.
External keyboards working fine.
Filter keys are off.
I have this problem since I got this pc from the previous owner and don't know if it were all along or just appears one day.
No viruses.
Did not install any soft that can somehow affect this keys combination.

Can someone please give any thought of what it can be? I'm kinda completely out of ideas.
