Windows 10: My current version of windows 10 will not recognize a mouse.

I'm using a HP Pavillion P6720f running Windows 10 1904. I was in the middle of installing an app when the mouse stopped working. I tried 3 other ones that also did not work. My first thought was safe mode. when automatic repair came up with choose your keyboard layout the key board stopped working. I tried the keyboard on another computer and it works fine. Without a keyboard or mouse I cannot boot into safe mode. Does anyone know of a solution to this problem?

Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

Windows 10 Out stopped recognizing my wireless mouse

Hi,

Not recognized wireless mouse could be due to:

• Outdated Mouse driver.
• Faulty or loose wireless mouse USB receiver.

We would like to know some information:

• Have you tried using your wireless mouse on other computer and check if it works?
• Have you tried using other wireless mouse?
• Have you tried updating your mouse drivers?
