Windows 10: My cursor changed the resize option from the default diagonal arrows to something else i...

The normal cursor is still there but there is a vertical rectangle with arrows at the top and bottom attached to the pointer. How do I change it back, please? I have tried to rest the mouse settings and update drivers but it still appears. Unfortunately, the image upload keeps failing.I am using Windows 11 on a Lenovo X1 Yoga.

They are as Hopachi named them so I left them alone. Either way it's easy to pick the correct one when I browse for them in mouse settings.

When I have opened a program like Edge on my Windows 10 PC, the cursor changes form from an arrow to a circle with an up arrow and an arrow down.
This new symbol can not activate anything by moving it around with the mouse.
To close the open program, press Ctrl + Alt + Del to get to the job list.
At the same time, the circle symbol turns into the well-known arrow, and I can continue the work normally.

Why does my mouse pointer change to the vertical resize cursor on my 2 non main displays?

I am using Windows 11.

My mouse cursor is set to Normal Select (Windows Inverted), and this works perfectly on my main screen. And until yesterday it also worked perfectly on my 2 other displays. But today (without any changes being made to the system AFAIK) when I move the cursor to either of the 2 secondary displays it changes to the vertical resize cursor (ie vertical line with an up arrow at the top and down arrow at the bottom).





This makes it extremely difficult to use the cursor on the secondary windows as

1. you cannot reliably tell where the mouse is pointing
   
2. It does not change to other cursors, eg when trying to expand a window diagonally or horizontally
   

Why is it occurring and how do I get the cursor behaving as normal on my 2 secondary screens?

NB this seems to be the same issue as Redirecting but none of the solutions posed there worked.
