    My cursor disappears when it switches from an arrow to an I-beam.


    When I drag the arrow cursor to a text area, it disappears. If I keep dragging, it reappears as an I-beam after some time. This issue occurs in my VS Code editing panel and browser search box but doesn't happen in Word or Notepad. I tried deleting and reinstalling VS Code and updating my mouse driver, but it didn’t work. However, when I start a screen recording, the issue doesn't appear in the recording.

    Mouse Cursor Changed to I-Beam and Yellow Hand

    My mouse cursor is now "permanently" an I-Beam with a small yellow hand on top of it. They move together and act as if the same icon. I am assuming I accidentally turned on some feature, but I am stumped as to what this feature is.

    How do I restore my mouse cursor back to the usual white arrow pointer/I-beam only when typing?
