Windows 10: my cursor keeps showing work in progress every minute

my cursor keeps showing the spinning blue circle even there are no background apps running i also restarted my computer and it still showing up, I can still use it normally but its annoying

My cursor keeps disappearing to the upper left hand corner of the screen even while typing. It gets worse as the day progresses. Its making my computer impossible to use. I tried the suggested troubleshooting and reinstalling device drivers. Didn't work.

Thank you both for your prompt replies, I tried all steps listed, some I had tries previously but I still tried them again, but still no cursor.

Do you have any other suggestions?

 

No mouse cursor

Hi,

It is possible that the system did not recognize the mouse of your computer after it booted up. This can be the reason why you do not see the mouse cursor. Kindly perform a power cycle to refresh the power of the computer. To do this, follow these steps:

• Shutdown the computer.
• After shutting it down, remove the battery (if you're using a laptop) and disconnect the computer from the charger.
  
• Wait for 1 minute.
• After 1 minute, attach the battery and turn on the computer.
• Check if you will see the mouse cursor.
