Windows 10: My custom sound scheme on windows 11 is not working. How can I fix that?

I changed the sound scheme on Windows 11 to my own custom sounds. I used .wav files and I did click Apply and OK but only some of them work. The Device Connect and Disconnect and Pop-Ups work but notifications, changing the volume, and new text messages don't work. They did work when I clicked Test so I don't know what to do. Can someone please help me?

Windows 10 custom Sound Schemes not working

I'm having the very same problem.

Method One didn't resolve the issue.

I don't know why you'd suggest Method 2. There is clearly nothing wrong with our sound drivers. The sounds are playing; Windows 10 is not accepting the instruction to implement the modified sound scheme.

Method 3 directs to a page that does not exist.

 

Restore Windows 11 Windows Default Sound Scheme?

I was messing around with the sounds in Windows 11 and I found a really cool Sound Scheme online called JARVIS AI. I would like to use the Windows Default Sound Scheme again, but when I select Windows Default most of the sound files are not listed. I believe the sound files (.wav) are located in C:\Windows\Media, but I'm not sure which sound files coincide with each Program Event. Is there any way to restore the Windows Default Sound Scheme? Or can someone provide a list of each Program Event and the coinciding sound files for Windows 11?

I would like to inform you that when you when you download any anything from the internet it be stored in the download folder.

I suggest you to follow the steps and check if it helps:

• 
  Press Windows+X key on the keyboard and hit
  Enter.
  
• 
  Click on Control panel and select
  Sound.
  
• 
  Click on Sound Tab.
  
• 
  Under Sound Scheme select
  No Sound.
  
• 
  Under the program event window select the program for which you want to change the sound scheme.
  
• 
  Then click on browse and in the left pane select
  downloads.
