Windows 10: My D disk is showing up empty

    My D disk is showing up empty


    So my D disk that is 931 GB says its using 345 GB of space in my file explorer.
    But when I go into windows settings>storage and then click the D disk in there, it shows that its using up 0 bytes of storage on all the different categories
    I'm trying to clear my D disk of big files and I just need to know what's taking up so much space but it wont show anything. Any help?

    diskpart doesn't show disk

    Hey,

    I am trying to install Win10 on a mac book air.

    However the diskpart does not list the disk even after reformatting the partition as NTFS per suggestion.

    read through this solution but cannot move to step 1 listed in the solution by Ivan as that disk doesn't see that partition it was just able to reformat.

    Hello,

    I have done every step i've been told and still didn't retrieve my disk d .. doese that mean that there is a possablity that the hardware itself has a problem ?

    disk d is not showing in my laptop

    do i format the disk c ? because it opened disk management and its showing me:



    (Disk 0 partition 1)

    (Disk 0 partition 4)

    (Disk 0 partition 5)

    OS_install (cMy D disk is showing up empty :)

    but it doesn't show me disk d
