Windows install on a laptop bought at Auction?

I bought 3 identical Dell Latitude laptops from a Police/Airport 'lost and found' auction. All had their drives removed. All had Windows 8 Pro stickers on the underside:

I used the MS Media Creation tool to install Windows 10 Pro offline (i.e. not connected to the internet) so I could use a local account, not a Microsoft Account. All picked up the Windows 8 key stored in the BIOS/UEFI and activated Windows 10 automatically the first time they connected to the internet. Example from Dell BIOS/UEFI of Windows 8 Pro product key embedded in BIOS/UEFI (Many thanks @SIW2 for the very useful link.)

Win10 might find the Win8 key in the MSDM table in bios. At one point it did, not sure if it still does. If not you can find it yourself and enter it in win10. one way is with rweverything. RWEverything – Read & Write Everything Click ACPI table, then click the MSDM tab. I dont have a win8 machine to hand, so here is a pic taken by Phillip Yip. The key is at the bottom where it says Data

 

WarRock 3D Detection don´t works

Hello Guys,

i had a problem with my Card. The card didn´t wanted to change in 3D Modus. Ok now i removed the other 2 Pins and now it runs in 3D Modus in 3DMark06 too. The Card is a HD 2900GT. But my Game WarRock don´t runs in 3D Modus. Is there a List where i can start the game in 3D Manual? Because in Automatic it don´t want start because the Card don´t see that it is an 3D Game. Can someone help me?
