    My daughter was gifted a pc, upgrade clarification needed


    My daughter was gifted a PC a few years back. Since then I've upgraded most components in the system. I recently bought her a new m.2 drive to upgrade the HDD drive she has had. I need to transfer over the windows, note I don't have a recovery key. I don't want to clone the drive, but a clean install. If I create a bootable drive from her windows , does it automatically key the new installation with her activation key? Or what is the easiest way?
