    My default printer is idle and will not print.


    Several months ago, I installed my HP Laser Jet M139we printer, and it was working fine. Unfortunately, my wifi router had to be replaced, and now I can't get my printer to communicate with my printer. My computer indicates my printer is idle. I have tried unplugging the wifi receiver/router and my printer. I am allowing them to be off for 3 to 5 minutes. Yet when I turn them back on, I am still looking at an idle printer. I think the problem is a failure of my printer to connect to my wifi network.

    Printing sent to non-default printer

    Hi,
    I'm running a win10 Pro system. When I try to print a file, the default printer is shown. Though, the document isn't sent to my default print (Brother MFC-430W Printer). Instead it shows up as a piece waiting in the queue of Foxit Editor PDF Printer (which shows in my Device and Printers list, or in MS PDFCreator, which doesn't show on this list.
    How do I bring my default printer back to the fore?

    Addendum: This problem shows while I try to print an Office document or when I print from my browser. Strangely, when I type to my Bullzip PDF printer, I manage to print the file from my Adobe Acrobat DC program.

    Printer won't print says it's 'idle'

    Hi all, somehow my computer doesn't seem to be connected to my printer anymore. To me, it seems to be connected I get the option 'HP LaserJet P1005' yet nothing prints. When I look in print ques, nothings registers, and I've even got the message 'printer
    is idle'. Any suggestions where I should look, or what I should try to get my printer to print again? My computer is an ACER Aspire V. Thanks for any suggestions offered.

    Print to PDF missing in Printer List

    Hi William,

    We suggest that you disable and re-enable the Print to PDF feature. Here are the steps:

    • Click on the Start menu and type in Windows Features.
    • Choose Turn Windows features on or off.
    • On the next window, find Microsoft Print to PDF and disable it. Click
      OK to save changes.
    • Restart your PC.
    • Repeat the same steps to re-enable Microsoft Print to PDF.

    Advanced:
