    My Dell computer seemingly overheated and won't stop making noises


    A few days ago, I had accidentally left my laptop on and it stayed on for only around a day. I checked it and my laptop won't stop making these grinding noises and I think it overheated too much. I have been trying to fix it, but the noise only stops when I off the laptop. Is there any other possible way to get the noise to stop?

    Hi, my computer won't stop making an annoying noise

    As the title states, I can't stop my computer from making this noise. The noise is like a very fast drill or static. I was watching YouTube, and an ad came up and I tried to skip, but it started making that noise. It has been overheating ever since, and I put on a computer fan to cool it down, but I can't do anything about it. The screen has stayed the same since. Nothing has changed. The noise is really getting to me, and I would like to use my computer again

    I just want a fix to this problem.

    Computer is making a constant noise

    My computer is making a constant noise … I can change the noise when I select a different Windows sound theme, but cannot get it to stop

    My Dell computer seemingly overheated and won't stop making noises

    Loud Squealing Noise

    I am running windows 7 on a Dell desktop computer. It has started making a very annoying and loud squealing noise. I have cleaned the dust from inside thinking it may be overheating. I also wiggled the boards to make sure all were seated good. Does anyone have an idea what could be causing this and how to stop it? Thanks
