Windows 10: My Dell G15 Battery keeps draining while on sleep mode "Warning! Battery is Critically low"...

Hi Microsoft society, I have this Dell G15 laptop for almost less that 2 years now, and this problem started to appear like 4 - 6 months now, where i get this : "Warning! Battery is Critically low" every time i open the lid of the laptop I always leave my Laptop in sleeping mode or just closing the lid, and the battery will never drain even if i spend a whole 3 days without using it, either no applications operating or some application or Internet browsers minimized, the Battery will be either fully charged or fairly charged, the draining is barely noticeable. even mine has a slow battery drain, using Win 8.1. Even when powered off, not in sleep or hibernate, but off. It still uses the battery to keep the clock going.
Turn off fast start, as suggested, hibernate over sleep as it uses less power, and if you aren't going to use it for several hours, shut it off.

Sleep Mode has never been efficient. In all my years of using laptops, I've always just turned them off and on. Battery drain is normal for sleep mode. Some people have had issues with the laptops not powering off completely and draining the battery, but if that's your issue, there is an easy fix. You turn off Fast Startup and check a setting in Device Management under Intel Management Engine.

 

Battery draining in Sleep mode

My computer seems to be having issues with Sleep mode post recent Windows update.

I usually will put my computer to sleep while plugged into docking station as it connect to my desktop screen.

When I wake the computer now from sleep mode - even if it's been a number of hours - the screen comes on straight away and my battery has drained.

Most times when I wake my computer in the morning bow from overnight sleep it wakes saying battery is at critical low levels so has been draining through the night which usually wouldn't happen in proper sleep mode.

Also, whenever I used to wake my computer from sleep mode it would take 10-15 seconds for the computer to load up, but as I said now the screen comes on straight away which tells me the computer is not going to sleep properly.

I've also rechecked all my battery, power and sleep settings and nothing has changed there.

Please can someone assist me with this issue I now have?
