Windows 10: My dell laptop face id, fingerprint and pin gets reset whenever i restart my laptop.

whenever i restart my laptop my windows hello gets disabled and asks for setup again n again. I have tried a lot of troubleshooting methods to resolve the issue but it is not solving. I and many people in my organization are facing the same issue.

Dear MS Team, I have a few users including me who has the issue where our laptop fingerprint and face lD lock, PIN lock. Keeps on resetting. It ask to reset it every time after restart. We have no company policy, no external software in action. I have already performed a few steps from MS site. but it did not work. Please advise. Regards, Jay

Restarted laptop, fingerprint, pin, Edge and more totally reset.

Well originally, this all happened when I restarted my laptop, not reset it. I hit restart, it switch off and on again and these problems occurred, not a full reset.

After just restarting my laptop as I do every so often, thats when the fingerprint and pin suddenly stopped working and needed to be reapplied. That's what made me perform a full reset originally.

Hi, I recently restarted my windows 11 laptop, but it seems the account, or account files where deleted? I immediately noticed that after the restart, my fingerprint scanner didn't work, neither did my Laptop's Pin. I was told that the device was offline, and it had forgotten my WiFi login. I used my phone as a hotspot, and logged in with my full password.

However I noticed that my fingerprint, pin, bookmarks and many more things where now gone. I reset my laptop (a reinstall of Windows but kept my files) and the issue did not resolve. It isn't the driver or hardware, as my fingerprint worked totally fine once I set it a second time after reseting my laptop.

I've reset my laptop before, but last time i didn't have my Microsoft Edge bookmarks and passwords etc erased. I also had issues with my Microsoft 365 license, but I think this has been resolved.

I looked at my appdata folder, and it seems to have been whiped? I'm not sure what's happened, or what to do next.
