Windows 10: My Dell laptop keyboard is not working after windows 11 update. Can someone help me fix this

My Dell Laptop keyboard is not working after I updated my windows to 11. Initially few keys didn't work once I tried and tested to uninstall the drivers and change the entire keyboard stopped working. I have ran the Keyboard test, tried trouble shooting option too. Can someone help me fix this.

Dell Laptop Keyboard not working

Sooo.....I had to run a virus sweep on a buddie's laptop. Killed something called "Personal Antivirus." Cool, right?

Well, his keyboard won't work after logging into Vista Home Premium. It works at boot, lwets you type in the password, but after logging into no love from the KB.

It's a Dell Studio 1735 if that helps. Any ideas?

Try the following methods and check if it helps:

Method 1:

I suggest you to enable the On Screen Keyboard from the Lock Screen and try manually updating the Keyboard driver from the
Device Manager

Follow the below steps to enable the On Screen Keyboard:

• Click on the Ease of access icon on the bottom of lock screen.
• Select the On Screen Keyboard.

I would recommend you to manually update the Keyboard driver from the
Device Manager.

Redirecting

If the issue still persists then, I would recommend you to download and install the latest Keyboard driver in compatibility mode from the manufacturer and check if it works.

Method 2:

I suggest you to follow the below steps to start Windows 10 in safe mode:

• From the Windows Lock screen hold the Shift key from the Keyboard and click on
  Power button.
• Click on Restart.
• After your PC restarts to the Choose an option screen, select Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Settings >Restart.
• After your PC restarts, select a startup setting as Safe Mode by pressing the corresponding number.

Note: The steps for Windows 8.1 applies to Windows 10.

Dell Will Fix Faulty Vostro 1310 and 1510 Laptop Keyboards

Dell on Friday said it has suspended shipment of the two Vostro 1310 and 1510 laptops in Europe after first owners alarmed that these laptops are shipping to Europe with incorrect European keyboard layout. Jennifer Davis, a Dell spokeswoman commented on the story. She pointed out that only a limited number of Vostro 1310 and 1510 laptops with the wrong keyboard layout were shipped in Europe in the middle of April. Fortunately, Dell has stopped further shipments of the laptop models until the problem is fixed. All "lucky" owners of the faulty keyboard laptops will be offered a replacement. "Customers will be given a choice to receive the keyboard kit or have a tech [representative] come on-site, ... The new keyboard is easy to install," Davis said. Laptops shipped outside Europe aren't affected by the glitch.
