Windows 10: My Dell XP 8940 keeps flickering and shimmering

My Dell XP 8940 keeps flickering and shimmering, Dell changed Motherboard, CPU and did all driver and software updates , still the same, simply STAY AWAY FROM DELL, and their Tech Support is in India and they are very un-honest Tech Rep's.

Windows 11 Screen shimmering, flickering randomly.

Every couple of days my Windows 11 Dell XPS 8940 desktop screen shimmers. Can't read words as everything shimmers. Maybe flickering is the right word, but a thousand times a second. The entire screen goes white, sometimes pink. I have Ctr-Alt_Del bringing up task bar sometimes shimmers too. Sometimes not. rebooting computer solves problem for a couple of days, or sometimes just a few hours, I have followed a long list of suggestions from Dell and Microsoft, including:

1 Checking monitor and desktop connections, verified cables, etc.

2. Updating graphics card driver, display adapter, ( Intel(R) UHD Graphics 730)

3. Removing any recent programs

4. Removing Norton anti-virus,

5. Removed animation effects

If this is caused by a defective or incompatible graphics card I can purchase a replacement and install it. I hate to spend that money unless I know it will fix.

Any other suggestions?

Windows 11 Screen shimmering, flickering randomly.

The shimmering has returned this evening. The entire screen became white and vibrated quickly. I pushed the invisible cursor to the upper right where the X would be and closed the app. I opened Task Manager and the list of programs vibrated too. Now, as I type these words, they shimmer or vibrate a bit especially as I move my mouse or type words.

The only two programs open was Firefox and the the Thunderbird mail app. Although this has occurred using other browsers and programs too. I opened another browser window to Amazon Black Friday ads and made a short video of the flickering screen. If there is a way to send this to you let me know.

If I reboot the computer this will go away for hours perhaps or in some cases a day or two. I've worked with computers since my Atari 800 days, and never seen anything quite like this. I am at a complete loss.

DELL XPS 9520 random BSOD and memory corruption caused by USB storage access

I have Windows 11 Pro 22H2 on both of my Dell XPS computers, XPS 8940 desktop and XPS 15 7590 laptop. I haven't had any problems.

My reason for asking if you had updated to 22H2 is because your computer was listed by Dell as being tested and approved for 22H2.
