Windows 10: My Dell XPS 15 won't pick up my microphone on my Turtle beach Ear Force Recon 70x

    My Dell XPS 15 won't pick up my microphone on my Turtle beach Ear Force Recon 70x


    I was in a Xbox party when I realized my laptop mic was in use and not my headset mic. I can't figure out how to use my headset mic and not my laptop mic, I searched for solutions and I found nothing useful.

    Turtle Beach Ear Force Z60 microphone not working.

    Hi!

    Yesterday I got a new Turtle Beach Ear Force Z60, and they were working fine. The microphone was working and the sound was working fine too. (Although my voice through the mic was rather quiet.)

    Regardless, today I went to use them again, but as I was talking to my friends over Skype, they were saying they couldn't hear me! I went all over many forums and found some solutions, all of which failed.

    I've uninstalled and reinstalled drivers, restarted PC, etc. But as I mentioned, it still did not work.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Hah, "Ear Force". That's ironic, because a Turtle Beach headset gave me tinnitus.
