Windows 10: my desktop audio is playing through my mic, and does not pick up my voice

    my desktop audio is playing through my mic, and does not pick up my voice


    I've tried many things from other threads using device manager or control panel, I've used troubleshoot but it finds no issues, I have no idea what to do anymore.

    Did you anticipate something different? This is not a Windows issue.

    My Mic is picking up Desktop Audio.

    Recently I downloaded a Soundboard app, After I got tired of it and deleted it a problem started and my Mic is picking up Desktop Audio like the Soundboard where if I played a sound my Mic will pick it up and play it. The "Listen to this device" is Unchecked.

    My mic plays the audio from my desktop (not games) (youtube/discord notifications etc.) but not my voice plays my desktop audio but not my voice

    My mic plays my desktop audio but not my voice. I need help.
