Windows 10: My desktop icons or files keep deleting when I tap on it

Dear Microsoft Team,

I kindly look forward to get a solution for this problem. I already tried some ways that similar with my problem that I found in the Microsoft support page but still it's not worked. And I also couldn't restore my files from the recycle bin because it always comes up with a lot of permission pop up notification which I have to tap several times and also whenever i click the icon again, it shows some interrupt action notification and just move the file or icon to the recycle bin. Thank you so much for being patience to hear out my issue and hope this could be resolved.

windows 10 deleted my desktop files

Step 1 - I upgraded to Win 10 and lost all my files on Desktop.

Step 2 - Found the files in Network - USers- Desktop

copied all files again to desktop.

Step 3- Restarted my machine again and lost desktop files again.

Step 4 - As suggested did the following as listed below but dont find my files.

• Press “Windows + E”, open This PC/Computer
• Open Local Disc C, open Windows.old
• Click on Users, select your User name
• Go to desktop folder

Cant find my files. Why is Win 10 deleted files again and again from Desktop ?.

Follow the steps and check if it helps:

Step 1: Press Windows+I to open Settings panel, and click
Personalization to access Personalization settings.

Step 2: Tap Change desktop icons on the top left in the Personalization window.

Step 4: Choose a new icon from the list, and tap OK.

Step 5: Click OK to confirm the change.

Removing desktop icons

I want to remove some Icons from my desktop, but Vista asks for Admin permission to continue (I'm not an admin *Frown ).
It seems that whenever I delete one of these icons from my desktop, it is also removed from all the other user accounts. For example, I deleted the Skype icon from my desktop, and it was then removed from everyone elses as well.
How can I delete icons from my desktop only, without affecting anyone elses?
