Windows 10: My detachable keyboard is malfunctioning?

I have a Surface Pro 8 with a detachable keyboard. The top row of keys are functioning differently than what they are meant to. For example, when I hit the backlight keyboard key it opens up a new tab. When I hit the brightness key it asks "turn on caret browsing?" When I hit the volume down key it opens up a search bar. Any ideas how to fix this? Thanks!

I tried it but it didn't work. somebody suggested I get detachable keyboard drivers where and how do I get the drivers?

My name is Mohammed Shuaib, an Independent Advisor and I'm here to assist you with the issue of keyboard malfunctioning. Please follow the below to fix the issue.

Step 1:

Go to the Search box next to Windows Icon & type Troubleshoot.

Step 2:

Under Find and Fix other problems select Keyboard

Step 3:

Then click on Run the Troubleshooter

Step 4:

Restart the PC

Let me know the status after performing the above.

Keyboard malfunction

My keyboard suddenly began malfunctioning and everytime I hit the backspace button, this appears-

My windows button also started not working. Any suggestions?
