Windows 10: My disk appears to be capped at 50% after repairing disk errors this might take an hour

So. Before this point, my HP laptop has been giving me several blue screens of death. Plus, also several slow start ups and frozen screen/crashes. The first blue screen of death, happened unexpectedly where my audio, had youtube playing started to glitch out. Then blue screen. This was on Monday, September 5, 2022. I dont remember what happened after that, maybe i force shut down my laptop several times? On Tuesday, my pc was running slow. The screen kept freezing, and i force shut down my pc several times, with each time i turn it back on, my pc kept freezing up. Eventually, it got to where

• Which Windows build and version do you have?
• Have you made any changes to your computer prior to this issue?
• Which troubleshooting steps have you done so far?

Disk Read Error

/p flags good, I'm still thinking it's something in your boot sector and not hardware related.

Try this:

Insert your XP disk and boot from the disk
Select recovery console
follow the promts until you are in DOS
C:\windows
at the above prompts type FIXMBR

Why?
This will fix the Mater Boot Record for Windows it will ask you if you are sure and follow the prompts

once complete type CHKDSK /r
that is CHKDSK space /r
this will check the disk and repair any bad sectors

once complete type exit

 

USB flash disk error.

I have noticed that when I connect a USB disk brand ADL four repeated errors appear in Even Viewer of Windows 7. The error is
The driver detected a controller error on \Device\Harddisk1\DR1.
The driver detected a controller error on \Device\Harddisk1\DR5.
But the disk is fine, it have passed the ScanDisk, I have formatted it and the error appears, however it works correctly when I transfer files to and from the disk
