My Disk is Already Encrypted and No I am not Able to Access and in setting Bitlocker is not Showing in Window 11 pro.

Bitlocker vs device encryption in settings

Exist case a w 10 pro PC - old was w 7 pro...
to support Only Bitlocker and NOT
device encryption in settings... see shot above....?

Bitlocker menu in Control Panel is gone!!!!!

Hi,

From the above screenshot I see that you are not able to access or see the Bitlocker Drive Encryption in Control Panel, i suggest you to change the view of the Control panel and then check if you are able to access or view it.

Follow the below steps and check if it helps.

• Type Control Panel in the Search bar and then Enter.
• Select the View by options in the upper right pane.
• In Category select the small icons and then check if you can view the Bitlocker Drive Encryption option.

Bitlocker broken, not able to access Encrypted files

Thanks for the response.

Bit-locker file in my laptop was corrupted, so it is not at all booting.

Link telling me to disable bitlocker, I am not able to login to laptop, how can I disable bit-locker?

When windows 10 anniversary update, they could have mentioned
disable bit-locker as a first step.

I am able to retrieve files in D: drive which are not encrypted. But I couldn't find any option to retrieve encrypted file in C: drive. If I start re-image, I will lose every bit in C: drive.

Even If I am able to uncheck encrypt option on the folder, I can get those files. Is there anyway to do so?

Is there any option to retrieve my encrypt files?
