Windows 10: My disk jumps from 0 - 100% while playing games and blue screens my pc, what should I do?

Hello, a few weeks ago my pc bluescreened for the very first time while i was playing a game, it was a WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR, because this was the first time this happened i thought nothing of it and assumed it was a one time occurrence, but after that initial blue screen my pc began to start doing it more frequently, i've even resorted to resetting my pc twice to combat the issue but i still blue screen.A few things that i've noticed is that this only happens while playing games and also that right before my pc bluescreens the disk, which is normally has 0 - 7% activity, spikes to 100%, th

Hello, this is my first time posting on the forum, but the problem I have is that whenever I am playing a game, the system disk(Samsung 970 Evo) would randomly jump to 100% usage with 0 write and 0 read (even if the game is installed on another drive). Sometimes
only the game freezes and sometimes the entire pc freezes. I did some troubleshooting like repairing windows using cmd, reinstalling windows, disabled everything the internet has told me to, and checked my disk using cmd and CrytalDiskInfo (which read the
disk's health is at 100%).

I bought another one of the 970 evo 2 days ago to test it out but the problem persists, so I'm thinking it's an software issue.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

There are a lot of background processes running so disk activity is occasional.

Crystal Disk Report can see how much read/write there is and estimate the remaining service life

SSD generally should last > 5 years in a typical gaming PC.

 

Blue screen of death stuck at 100%

I recently got a new graphics card and since installing it I have had problems with my PC. The PC frequently crashed when playing games. I rebooted my PC in an attempt to fix it and I'm still having problems. Now when it shows the blue screen it charges to 100% and does not reboot.



Does anyone have any suggestions that can help me get into Windows and get my files back?
