Windows 10: My disk space keep decreasing right after i uninstalling apps.

So after i uninstalling some apps. instead of free up the space, it actually decreasing my disk space. for example : i just delete my games on steam size is about 10 gb, it didnt give me the 10gb free space, instead they add more 10gb on my disk drive my disk drive is about 159gb after i download the game, it increased to 169gb after i uninstalling the games. Please help me solve this. Thank you!also im sorry if my english is so messed up. its not my first language.

This behavior can occur when System Restore is turned on on your computer. System Restore uses a portion of the hard disk to store "restore points." These restore points are used by System Restore to return your computer to an earlier state.

System Restore creates a new restore point each time that you start the computer.

Windows Store games occupying hard disk space even after uninstalling

This issue normally happens if something went wrong on the uninstalling process.

We suggest that you perform a Disk Cleanup as your workaround this time.

• Go to File Explorer.
• Click This PC.
• Right click Local Disk.
• Choose Properties.
• Click Disk Cleanup.

Low Disk Space error

Hi,

I suggest you to delete the unwanted applications or games installed on the device and also perform a Disk Cleanup.

In order to delete the games or applications, which has been downloaded from the Windows Store you need to right click on the game and select
Uninstall option from the Start menu.

If the games that you are downloaded are .exe or the applications which are not downloaded from the Windows Store, you may try deleting it from the Control panel.

To do so, please follow the below steps.

• Right Click on Start Menu.
• Open Control Panel.
• Click Programs.
• Click Programs and Features.
  
• Click on the programs that you would like to uninstall.
