Windows 10: My display is broken and I don’t know why.

I recently installed new RAM Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO SL 4x8gb 3600Mhz into my PC, I booted up the PC and my screen resolution was off the screen the edges were cut off. Also I noticed that my display adapter NVIDIA RTX 3060 Ti was experiencing Code 43 and the computer is currently running on Microsoft Basic Display Driver. I tried to install new drivers for NVIDIA, as well as installing older drivers but nothing changes. The driver could not be installed and I can’t access NVIDIA Control Panel to fix it. Please help.

Broken display when display driver installed

Hi All,

Got a problem with my display. Suddenly it displays like this





I reinstall the OS (tried W7 and W10 new and old versions) and installed display driver but still the display is broken.





the display is ok when display driver is not installed but the resolution is small and i cant play games even cs1.6






please kindly help me. Thank you!

4870x2 won't display at 1680x1050 at all!

OK. Now I know what ur problem is. Step by step:
1. Go to Catalyst Control Center
2. Click on the word "Graphic" right on top left corner. It will display drop down menu
3. Click on Display monitor and will see the list of monitor at near bottom
4. Right Click the monitor and select "Configure". It will show up the window
5. There will be 3 option to select. Select the middle one and then click on the tab which show the bar with 15%.
6. Drag the bar to max, and the screen will stretch to the native resolution 1680x1050.
7. Also click the tab with showing RGB drop down list and select the last one (it will change to image quality for pc).

Thanks, have heard this before...is their a step by step procedure to OC using the bios settings you suggest.
i don’t intend pushing this to its limit...but some increase would be great, any suggestions on a good air cooler ?
