Windows 10: My display is stuck on 1024 x 726 resolution. I NEED help.

My display is stuck on 1024 x 726 resolution. I feel like I have tried everything. I have tried turning it on and off. I have tried installing new drivers. I have a NIVIDIA 3060 RTX Ti and I would like help to make it work. I think my problem is with my graphics card, but I do not know how to fix it. I have had this problem for several months and I bothers me so much that I do not use my computer now. Please get back to me.

Display resolution stuck at 1024 X 768

I've upgraded to Windows 10 about a month ago, and recently my screen resolution got stuck at 1024 x 768. I can't change it back to the usual 1360 X 768 because the screen just turns black, and I have to press enter to return to the previous setting. I can
"fool" it into setting to 1280 x 768 whenever I startup the new Catalyst installer, but it reverts to 1024 after I turn the computer on and off again.

My video card is a ATI Radeon 4800 HD.

So on my Windows 7 laptop, my resolution is stuck at 1024 x 768. I was on Task Manager and by mistake closed a process called explorer.exe. It removed the taskbar and made all of my desktop apps disappear. After I restart the computer it is gone but then
my resolution switches from 1280 x 720 to 1024 x 768. On the resolution panel, it shows nothing else and I cannot make a custom resolution. Please help.

Hi Since a windows update my display resolution has change from 1024 x 768 to 1366 x 768, when I go into settings-display it shows resolution set at 1366 x 768 and greyed out and I am unable to change to the setting I want i.e 1024 x 768, I am using a HP 1730 monitor 4:3
Any help, suggestions would be appreciated.
