  1. My display/monitor randomly goes into standby.

Hi, I'm getting very annoyed with this problem. I can be in the middle of work, video editing, gaming, or the PC can be idle and this will happen. There doesn't seem to be any pattern. My display/monitor began to randomly switch into standby quite a while ago now. Sometimes, if I waited for a minute or two it would come back on its own but mostly it wouldn't and I would have to reset. I thought it was because I upgraded from Win7 to Win10 so I lived with it until I upgraded the computer and would do a fresh installation of Windows 10.I have now upgraded my PC, everything is new, Keyboard, M

  2. Why my monitor goes OFF after some standby time ??

Please take a picture of the other port on your Monitor, it is Benq but you didn't list model number.

Your PC has HDMI and your monitor likely DVI.

You can get and HDMI to DVI cable and your resolution will improve a great deal.

    List HDMI

    Primary monitor randomly goes black

Got a monitor issue. Looked at other posts about this issue be could not find anything addressing my issue. Over the past few months, my primary monitor randomly (no pattern to the issue) goes black but the led shows it to still be working. Secondary monitor is working. Only way to get the primary back is to reboot the computer. I tried reversing the DVI-D cable but no luck, primary still goes black. Regardless of which monitor is set to primary, that is the monitor that goes black. The monitor set as secondary never goes black. Any ideas?
