Windows 10: My display settings aren't resetting

I was looking at my display settings and turned on "use 3d display" by accident, now my screen goes black and disables all my drivers and my laptop uses basic drivers to display my laptop screen. I tried reinstalling both amd and nvidia drivers but the problem won't go away.According to a previous post I also deleted all the subkeys in the registry as the instructions said but it still won't revert my settings back to normal.I don't know what else to do other than resetting my entire laptop

Icons from apps aren´t displayed correctly






The native apps from the system are all showing this strange square instead of the normal icons. Please help resolve this problem. Thanks

Do the apps work fine apart form the icons not displaying correctly? If so I would suggest you to run an SFC scan and check if it helps. If the issue persists you may run DISM command and check.

Follow this steps:

    Press Windows+X.
    
  • 
    Click on Command Prompt (Admin).
    
  • 
    Type the command SFC /SCANNOW and
    DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth and hit
    Enter.

To reset the settings back to default, follow these steps:

• Go to your desktop, right click and select Display Settings.
• Choose the appropriate settings from the options under Display.
